What is the battery life of the Wheel Sensei sensors?
The Wheel Sensei units have a lifespan of approximately eight (8) years, based on an average of 720 driving hours each year.
If a single Wheel Sensei unit is damaged, will the others continue to operate?
If a single unit is damaged the other Wheel Sensei’s will continue to operate as per normal.
How does Wheel Sensei intelligent sleep mode work?
Wheel Sensei jumps into action as you start your drive. As your trailer wheels spin, data is being sent back to the your vehicle.
At rest Wheel Sensei’s trailer bearing monitoring system intelligent sleep mode kicks in – ready for the next leg of your journey.
Does Wheel Sensei require an internet connection to work?
Wheel Sensei trailer bearing monitoring system is designed to work in remote locations so an internet connection is not needed to monitor your tow whilst on the road.
An internet connection is required when you first create an account and set up your vehicles and register the products.
