With the new Wheel Sensei S2 – the cover wont be able to be fitted back on. But thats ok, you can show off your smarter towing!
Each Wheel Sensei unit monitors a wheel bearing hub, independently of the other units.
A single unit is needed to monitor each wheel bearing.
If you have four wheels, we recommend four Wheel Sensei units.

Wheel Sensei has been designed with a simple installation process to ensure anyone can install Wheel Sensei.
You do not need to be a mechanic or qualified trade professional.

Wheel Sensei is a direct fit on for the wheel dust cap or hub and will not impact your wheel performance.
No wheel modifications are needed to use Wheel Sensei.
The Wheel Sensei units are 100% water and dust proof. They are Australian designed and tested to IP67 and IP 68

The Wheel Sensei units have a lifespan of approximately eight (8) years, based on an average of 720 driving hours each year.
We are currently testing different options as per user feedback and trials. The Smarter Towing app will be the central point to capture all the data of your trailer for peace of mind monitoring.
Smarter Towing app for Apple Carplay is currently in development and testing.
Smarter Towing app for Android Auto is currently in development and testing.
You can install the app on multiple devices.
To activate on multiple devices you will need:
1. An active Wheel Sensei account
2. A valid Wheel Sensei registration code (provided after purchase of the Wheel Sensei kit).
Wheel Sensei is designed to work in remote locations so an internet connection is not needed to monitor your tow whilst on the road.
An internet connection is required when you first create an account and set up your vehilces and register the products.
Powered by a proprietary wireless protocol, Wheel Sensei devices deliver fast, accurate sensor data to your app via the in-vehicle hub. Simply connect the hub to your mobile device via bluetooth to monitor temperature, pressure, and alerts in real time — wherever your journey takes you.
Wheel Sensei jumps into action as you start your drive. As your trailer wheels spin, data is being sent back to the your vehicle.
At rest Wheel Sensei’s intelligent sleep mode kicks in – ready for the next leg of your journey.
Wheel Sensei devices transmit data via the in vehicle hub to your smart device. Based on the temperature settings that you set for your vehicle the user interface will show alerts. If your phone is in the background a phone notifcation will be sent to alert you of temperature thresholds being activated.
Ensure the Smarter Towing app has permissions to connect to bluetooth and that phone notifications are allowed.
Depending on your device you can check the permissions in the apps list or in general settings.

Please allow up to five days for your order to be dispatched and 1-3 business days for delivery.
If your item is in backorder, we will let you know when ordering. Back order items can take up to 4 weeks longer.

All products are shipped express by Australia Post. Within Australia Express post is $30AUD.
Internationally we ship via Standard post and pricing is at a flat rate of $60AUD.

If the item is shipped and you want to make a change, unfortunately you will be responsible for return shipping. Refunds can be provided as long as all products are intact and not opened.

Products will be accepted and reshipped to your new address, as long as all products are intact and not opened.
We accept all major credit cards. Unfortunately direct bank transfer is not possible at this time.
Once you have placed an order and made payment, you will receive confirmation via email that the order is being processed.
Once the purchase is dispatched you will receive a tracking number for your shipment.

Customers may cancel their order within 24 hours of purchase or before the item is shipped, whichever comes first. To request a cancellation, please contact our support team at info@smartertowing.com with your order number.
If your items have already shipped or been delivered, you may return the item within 14 days of delivery under the following conditions:
The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition.
A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply for opened or used items.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrect.
Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after the item is received and inspected.
The following are not eligible for cancellation or return:
Customized or specially configured hardware
Final sale or clearance items
Items damaged due to misuse, modification, or improper installation
If your item arrives defective or damaged, please notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will provide a replacement, exchange, or refund based on your preference and stock availability.
Six (6) months Manufacturer’s Warranty on Wheel Sensei units.
Twelve (12) months Manufacturer’s Warranty on the In Vehicle Console.
Make sure you scan or have entered or scanned the unique bundle code correctly.
If it doesnt work, please email us as info@smartertowing.com so it can be resolved.
Make sure you scan or have entered or scanned the unique bundle code when setting up the Wheel Sensei device. Sometimes the Wheel Sensei will go into sleep mode and will take several minutes of driving to restart transmissions.
If all else fails, send us a email through the website and we will respond to you asap.
First, make sure you have a good internet connection. When you first sign up, you will need to confirm your email for extra security. Be sure to check your spam or junk mail if you do not receive this.
If your welcome mail does not come through, contact us and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
Check if the In Vehicle console is connected and powered up.
There is a small LED light – when the Wheel Sensei transmits you may see the light flicker. If all else fails email us at info@smartertowing.com and we will help trouble shoot.
